[AfricaRealities] What are the main causes of discrimination in the UK and international labour market?

·      What are the main causes of  discrimination in the UK and international labour market?
·      How does the white man dominate  international job market
·      How does  discrimination against black people  happens in UK and international labour market  including in the UN Agencies and international organisations?

1) Communications skills

It is all about English language skills.  All  UK and international jobs adverts highlight  the requirements of excellent communications skills in English ( verbal and writing), even where these skills are not needed.   Most  job applicants from the South will struggle to meet this requirement even if they have  very good academic skills. If English is your second language it is impossible to compete with a British job seeker in  UK or international jobs. You will fail the interview because of your foreign English accent. At the interview panel , the interviewers ( white in most cases  with native English accent)  will expected  you to speak in British accent. British people do not tolerate people who speak with a foreign accent. They are not even pleased that you are trying to speak their language.

2) Your name

if your name is difficult to read or it does not sound or look like the white people's name, your chance of getting the job is 70% reduced.

Conclusion.

English language which believed to be an international language, but spoken approximately in the South,  has become a tool for discrimination in the UK and international labour market, and other international opportunities.
